High Belthorpe is a fabulous place to come and relax for weekends or holidays. We are close enough to the historic city of York for a full and energetic day out or evening meal, and yet we are located in a peaceful and tranquil environment and can offer all the home comforts you would expect from a Yorkshire farmhouse.
High Belthorpe has 3 letting rooms; 2 very large family/double en-suite rooms and a further double with private bathroom nexgt door to it. High Belthorpe is a dog-friendly bed and breakfast.
One of the large family rooms is located upstairs with fabulous panoramic views over the surrounding hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. The other family room is located on the ground floor and has its own private access to the garden. This room is a great favourite with dog owning visitors, who are our speciality, being dog lovers ourselves.
All rooms are, of course, centrally heated with lashings of hot water, have colour tv’s (freeview available on the gound floor), internet access and hospitality trays.
The bathrooms have all been newly refurbished this year.
The dining room is full of my grandmother’s antique furniture and has lovely views across the fields to the Wolds.
